BNP Paribas Securities Services

BNP Paribas asked ThisCity to produce an animation to communicate its world-class outsourcing solution.

The core sales proposition to BNP Paribas' clients is reducing complexity and focussing teams on expanding their business globally. BNP Paribas chose F1 as an analogy to communicate operational and technical excellence, efficiencies and to highlight competitive pressures. BNP Paribas has the solution to enable clients to focus on strategic activities, e.g. research and execution, by outsourcing the matching, allocation, valuation and confirmation of their trades in more than 100 markets. The animation was part of a wider campaign to C-Suite banking and finance directors.

Sustainability Communications

BNP Paribas Securities Services asked ThisCity to help communicate its CSR approach. Working alongside the client we helped design and promote the group’s CSR performance and stability – visualising areas of CSR such as Financing Renewable Energy, Green Mergers & Acquisitions, Green and Sustainable Bonds, Responsible Indices, Energy efficiency financing solutions for SMEs and Social Impact Bonds. We partnered with BNP Paribas Securities Services in London and their in-house communications team in Paris.

Communicating a complex financial tool

BNP Paribas has developed a series of client-focused data visualisation tools, branded ‘DNA’. The DNA project provides clients with the following benefits: State-of-the-art data visualisation tools connected to their client-focused data warehouses; greater consistency of information distributed across multiple product offerings; and increased flexibility and responsiveness for delivering new dashboards. The purpose of the dashboard is to provide an immediate ‘here and now’ view of the key themes and messages across all aspects of investment operations. BNP Paribas required a visually appealing, animated overview of the DNA tool. ThisCity worked on key messages, copywriting, design and animation; incorporating many stakeholders from London, Paris and Madrid.
